Cataclysm Tag-Team Confirms Departure, Possible Heat on Major Star, New Debuts

--Former Cataclysm Superstars Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, known collectively as the Motor City Machine Guns due to their common hometown of Detroit, confirmed their departure from the Cataclysm brand after once again failing to capture the brand's championships from reigning champions Tyson Tomko and Giant Bernard. Both members of the team took to twitter following the show to address the matter.

Alex Shelley (@MCShellShock) - "It's true, we're done with Cataclysm. Not a storyline, you won't see us on Friday nights anymore."

Chris Sabin (@FSWSabin) - "thanx to all the fans for supporting me and @MCShellShock. youll never know how much it means. stay tuned for the next step."

--Three new superstars appeared on the latest Cataclysm as Husky Harris, Michael McGillicutty, and AJ all debuted.

McGillicutty is actually Joe Hennig, third generation star who officials have been very high on for his look and work at the FSW Academy.

Harris is a second generation star who has impressed lately with his in-ring work and athleticism for a guy his size.

AJ, known on the independent circuit as AJ Lee, was a stand-out female wrestler originally drafted to the Oblivion brand but never used. It is unknown at this time how Cataclysm acquired her.

--There is rumored to be heat on Revolution Tag-Team Champion Shelton Benjamin for busting Justin Gabriel open on Cataclysm. Gabriel is getting really over with the fans, especially the younger ones, and seeing him bloodied on television was not supposed to happen. Shelton was reportedly not happy about dropping the Intercontinental Championship to Gabriel last month at Desperate Measures and worked the match very stiff, causing Gabriel to bleed.
